Where I live, you just have to take a 5 hour online course if youre applying as an adult. the driving test is literally 10 minutes and probably like 90% of people pass. The only problem is that there are too many distracted idiots on the road

Here in Germany you have to participate in driving theory lessons which are 14 topics in total. For this alone you have to pay more than 300 Euro.

The test is at least 40 minutes here, i can't remember. We had to drive out in traffic in a busy town and you could fail if you made a certain number of minor errors like not looking in the mirror enough. Most people fail once or twice. Then there is the theory exam too. Driving in usa is a different ball game than euro countries.
Did you have to use manual transmission when learning?

The IRA did bring the army to its knees, the government had to negotiate with the IRA, you don't negotiate with people you defeated. The reason a united Ireland wasn't achieved was because of the demographics in Northern Ireland, more unionists than nationalists, it wasn't to do with battles and bombs, there was nothing the IRA could do about demographics.
You don't rule us, you can't seem to understand that the post 1998 situation is different than pre 1998. We have the power to decide what happens to the future of Northern Ireland, not you, if we voted to leave some day then that's how it will play out, the army can't come over and force us to stay, it's written in law now.
