I started doing this in high school and it kind of worked. Women will still talk bad about you, but not to your face. Guys will be much nicer to you and some would even ask to lift with me.

Not true. I'm 5'5" and quite muscular (also fat, tbh...the endomorph struggle ), especially around the traps, shoulders, and upper back. My forearms and wrists are also bigger than average. Men walking in the opposite direction move to the side and many are afraid to even make eye contact with me.

This isn't a brag, I'm just relaying my experiences out in the wild with how others treat someone who appears visibly threatening. The chimp instincts are all too real. If they perceive you to be a physical threat, they will be less likely to challenge you and more likely to respect you.
