Here is a rushed example I made of what my vision is for this:
So based off the measurements I have done this project will be the size of roughly x9 32x32 baseplates, and in a 3x3 design.
The wall will be roughly 1 foot tall or 30 bricks tall and the Colossal Titan being slightly taller than it.
The other titans will scale with that reference.
The layout allows for me to fit multiple scenes from the anime in, being the first episode aswell as season 3's wall retake when the Beast Titan vs Levi Ackerman fight happens.
So the costs are provided below, this isn't extremely accurate and is all rough drafting but I also will need to buy glue and stuff too.
So the end price is around $900 – $1200.
Now I might also add more to this, with an extra 3 baseplates to the left making it a 4x3 and it would feature the forest of giant trees where eren and annie fight, but that is for the future probably.
As for how I plan to start the build.. I will fit all the baseplates together, then begin with the terrain. I will create a border around all the baseplates and then raise it slightly, then begin filling the terrain in like so:
Small studs and random MISC bricks to give it nice detail, then I would start with the wall and demo builds for the districts buildings, putting placeholder outlines of where everything will go, after that I would work on the titan humanoid LEGO builds then fill in details.
I speculate the hardest things about this build will be the Colossal Titan and the wall, I can make it easier by making the wall straight and building less compared to the more realistic half circle wall which I very may might do, it really just depends on how hard it actually is when I physically do it.
