I would argue it was better early on in terms of character design when they still has the unique whacky proportions, before oda turned every character into generic anime blobs. Regardless of this, Oda is objectively a shit artist. I used to think I was going schizo when I tried reading the manga and got nauseous to the point I felt like throwing up. Then I went online and others had the same experience. His panel layout is fucking mkultra tier brain fuck. It's unreadable, convoluted etc. Trying to read what's going on is like trying to do a crossword puzzle while a strobe light is melting your retinas.
