Verse 147: Look at this dressed up body, a mass of sores, supported (by bones), sickly, a subject of many thoughts (of sensual desire). Indeed, that body is neither permanent nor enduring.

Verse 40: Knowing that this body is (fragile) like an earthern jar, making one's mind secure like a fortified town, one should fight Mara with the weapon of Knowledge. (After defeating Mara) one should still continue to guard one's mind, and feel no attachment to that which has been gained (i.e., jhana ecstasy and serenity gained through meditation

Verse 46: One who knows that this body is impermanent like froth, and comprehends that it is insubstantial like a mirage, will cut the flowers of Mara (i.e., the three kinds of vatta or rounds), and pass out of sight of the King of Death.

Verse 349: In a man who is disturbed by (sensual) thoughts, whose passions are strong, and who keeps seeing objects as being pleasant, craving grows more and more. Indeed, he makes his bondage strong.

Verse 350: A man who takes delight in calming (sensual) thoughts, who is ever mindful, and meditates on the impurity (of the body, etc.) will certainly get rid (of craving); this man will cut the bond of Mara.

The Budda knowing the state of her mind remarked, "O Khema! Look carefully at this decaying body which is built around a skeleton of bones and is subject to disease and decay. Look carefully at the body which is thought of so highly by the foolish. Look at the worthlessness of the beauty of this young girl." After hearing this, Queen Khema attained Sotapatti Fruition.

Cut down the whole forest of lust, not a tree only! Danger comes out of the forest of lust. When you have cut down both the forest of lust and its undergrowth, then, Bhikshus, you will be rid of the forest and free! As long as the love of man towards women, even the smallest, is not destroyed, so long is his mind in bondage, just as the calf is bound to and ever follows its mother cow.
Dhammapada 283 et seq.

Meditation on inevitable death should be performed daily. Every day when one’s body and mind are at peace, one should meditate upon being ripped apart by arrows, rifles, spears and swords, being carried away by surging waves, being thrown into the midst of a great fire, being struck by lightning, being shaken to death by a great earthquake, falling from thousand-foot cliffs, dying of disease or committing seppuku at the death of one’s master. And every day without fail one should consider himself as dead. There is a saying of the elders that goes, ‘Step from under the caves and you’re a dead man. Leave the gate and the enemy is waiting.’ This is not a matter of being careful. It is to consider oneself as dead beforehand.” – Yamamoto Jōchō

i feel like humanity is regressing...looks have become the main role of judging other peoples entire self worth, incels notice this and some incels are willing to go as far as plastic surgery just to fit into that current sick structure of society...

if you read timothy 2 in christian bible, end times are when humanity is basically giving into lusts and regressing or turning more degenerate

You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times.

2Ti 3:2
For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred.

2Ti 3:3
They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good.

2Ti 3:4
They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.

While Buddhism certainly is(like all religions) a cope, it's the closest thing you'll come to truth in this world. Reading the texts alone can free your mind in ways you never thought possible.
