Idiot is a Greek term which originally meant someone who was socially detached from the people of the polis (city-state) and was perceived as not caring about its collective interests, but only his own individual interests.
It acquired the connotation of low intelligence over the years because of an inherent prejudice in normies, whereby intelligence and social ingratiation are seen as one in the same, not to mention morality and good-looks (the kalonpill).
Fast forward to the modern era, and the ultimate result of this is the fact that psychopaths dominate society, despite only serving their own individual interests, being intellectually inferior, and morally depraved. The way psychopaths were able to pull this coup d'etat off is that they are superficially impressive and superficially conformist: they charm normalfags with their supposed intelligence and morality (all affected and hypocritical appearances, means of climbing the social ladder), while in reality being consummate individualist bloodsuckers and primitive animals whose highest intellectual pursuit is killing things.
Autists, who actually enjoy the gift of high intelligence, and develop a consistent system of ethics which would truly benefit society, are paradoxically alienated from society and only further ostracized by it because they cannot lie to normies, tell them what they want to hear, and stroke their egos (while really only caring about their own egos). Autists are deprecated as "stupid idiots" for their honesty, lack of pretense, and lack of conceit; whereas psychopaths are praised for their manipulations and parasitism which only serves to ultimately destroy society and make everyone feel as alienated and ostracized as the very autists who they spurned the whole time.
I consider this to be the ultimate pill on the dialectic of collectivism vs. individualism. Detached autists who are honest, egoless individualists would make for the best rulers of society and serve to enliven the collective. Sociable normies (and foids) are like clueless cattle who should be guided by us, and the psychopathic social climbers (dishonest, arrogant individualists) they love shot and dumped into mass-graves (the stacks of bodies would look much like ladders, a fitting metaphor for where social climbers belong tbhngl).
