Former brazilian basketball player Igor Cabral brutally beat his girlfriend 60 times. The 35-year-old victim suffered multiple fractures to her face and jaw. She will undergo surgery at the end of this week. Video footage shows the ex-athlete physically assaulting his girlfriend inside an elevator.

In his police statement, the shameless man claimed to have had a "claustrophobic episode" in the elevator. However, the reason for the beating was apparently that the heartless man "felt jealous."
