This is brutal.

People will say "hey man have you tried going to the gym?" (seeing you IRL) but you already go.

The sad reality is you can go to the gym for years and still look untrained with a shirt on. I've been going for a few years now and while I can do about 18 pull ups and jog 8 miles if I really push it now I look like someone who is just naturally skinny and never went to the gym in my life. In other words, it did NOT help me aesthetically. I have very little appetite, and I burn every single calorie I consume. I'm just NATURALLY smaller and weaker and my frame is small.

I've seen dudes with pot bellies who can jog 10ks easily and look like shit.

Like 67kg now at 5'10

I haven't gone to the gym since last year and can still do 100 push ups in a row, 10 muscle ups, 30 dips, etc. I am literally stronger in comparison to bodyweight than when i was in the gym 5x per week.

That's the shit I don't get. I feel like I gain strength when I don't go to the gym for a whole week. When I was tryharding I was trying to be there 5 days a week and not really improving

I prefer just going on night walks as my form of movement and exercise, i've never been to a gym in my life i wouldn't like to be surrounded by other sweaty men grunting and having to interact with anyone.

Do yourself a favour, and go to the gym less. Target one muscle group per week and see how you feel after that.

I did the same, and then tested how I would feel if I just stopped entirely, and I felt better still.
 
ironically i have a a pretty decent gym body and have gotten comments on it which is lifefuel. but no gym for your face, height and ethnicity.


but i do it cuz im a diabetic-cel and being in shape is not optional. foids don't care about gymcels.

When I started the 5 days a week and taking mass gainers BS I wasn't doing any cardio and maybe I was a few lbs heavier but I lose weight too easily to sustain that. I'd rather be somewhat healthy than slightly bigger in a negligible way

I sort of agree but not really. Women really don't like men who are smaller than them and most of them are obese or weightlifters themselves

If you are doing it for health and wellness, then don't push yourself too hard. Don't need to risk injuries over it. I've permanently damaged both my rotator cuffs, I can't even through a rock

Self improooooooooovement is the worst idea anyone concocted. It's just a subtle form of torture like the Stasi rearranging your furniture in your home. It's general enough that it sounds good but when you hone in on the particular there are all these caveats. And to think some people make an entire living encouraging endless improoooooovement when they know it's nonsense

Nah I don't think so because of weight classes

You should still try jiu jitsu though. I signed up last year but unfortunately missed 99% of the classes

Are you lifting or just doing cardio and calisthenics/bodyweight excercises?
 
Brutal, I just fraud my frame with oversized t shirts in the summer and in the winter I wear a bomber jacket that makes my frame look huge.
 
It's also hell having to force yourself to eat so much if you wanna have any progress.
 
Gymcel = good facial bones, wide clavicles

Dyel = recessed, framelet, low bonemass
