This gives me an idea for an online store where users can select odds for receiving items they are about to purchase. Eg. an item that typically costs $10 could be purchased for $5 with a 50% chance of not being shipped (obviously with a nice animation like in this video for each item). Maybe include a small bonus if the user loses, like a small discount code or cheap prize, adding further incentive the user to gamble/minimise psychological impact of losses. The price of gambling with smaller odds would incur a minor fee to offset the costs of these smaller loss prizes.

I have the best idea ever. mix gambling with gaming. I noticed all these gambling sites only focus on certain major events.
My idea:
create a software backend that connects people while they are playing video games. both parties can agree to put money on the outcome of the match. the biggest obstacle would be how the program determines the winner. you would have to trigger it through the games api if it exists or clone a game and make it in your own game.
you take a % fee and get rich quick. imagine how addictive people would become when they see the few people that get rich or stupid streamer wars.

This does exist, if by what you mean is like wagers, Counter Strike gambling sites host these kinds of events kinda
