Yeah this guy is absolutely right but you can make the same critiques of most other western nations, Canada, Australia, the UK, France and for that matter most of the EU. The entire continents of South America and Africa never even had a great modern civilization to collapse. I think America has gotten slightly worse and people are noticing now that it wasn't a fucking utopia and are freaking out acting like rome just fell. As many problems as there are I'd still choose it over 95% of other countries, maybe it will stay that way maybe not.
