I only watched breaking bad

skyler white ruined breaking bad for me i powered though but never finished i never watched the last season on the other hand better call saul I watched many times i can relate with him more.

i watched BCS from real close. just eyes glued to the TV, the raw blu-ray i downloaded was so grainy and nice. like perfectly fried crips. i just writing this is making me wanna watch it again. i never had a better and pleasant watching anything.

Bro didn't watch the best season

I need to rewatch BCS. I think I prefer Brba but Chuck might be ny favorite character from either show.

i have seen better call saul 7 times. i enjoy it much more then breaking bad.

It’s Jew produced for goyim consumption, so I’d rather die.

Its subjective tbh, I personally liked and found BB more entertaining then BCS
Both phenomenal shows, I just think vince gilligan and the rest of the writers really stepped up their game with BCS

Breaking bad is far better

both good though they're both middle aged suburban white guy fantasies where a wasted suburban midlife crisis white guy can become a badass and beat established brown criminals at criming and be better at things that brownpipo have been doing for far longer. even that scene where mike is walking down a hood and these four young brown guys harass him and get beat up by his white middle aged ass is a white guy fantasy. like the average middle aged suburban father-of-two will watch that and fantasize that it could be him beating up brown kids half his age but nigga are you a vietnam war vet with sniper and fighting skills? nah

I don't like BCS ending as much as BB. That said, i think it's the superior show because I find Jimmy to be a more relatable character and they made lawyer slop interesting to watch.

Whereas a lot of Breaking Bad spends time on Skylar bitching, and when Walt actually becomes a kingpin, they only give us a montage to enjoy it.

Comparison is the thief of joy, I like both of them a lot. I also think that they are quite different from each other, I definitely understand some people not enjoying Better Call Saul but enjoying Breaking Bad and vice versa. If I had to pick it would be Breaking Bad though. It all comes down to Walter White, he is a generational character. I would say that the moral/message of his and Breaking Bad's story is largely that pride is the greatest sin of all, and that is something everybody needs to know and they executed it perfectly in my opinion. I also love the ethereal nature aspect in Breaking Bad, and I think that is an element that was toned down in Better Call Saul.

The reason for why I think that is important is because while the characters tell one story in Breaking Bad, I think the the nature and environment almost give you an additional story or at least a different perspective on the human one. Because there is such an emphasis on nature and environment shots in Breaking Bad the show almost feels like a wildlife documentary of sorts, with the humans as the animals. When you see it that way you start to interpret the story in different ways. Instead of a cautionary tale about the dangers of pride, Walter's story becomes like a "man's search for meaning" type story. Walt choosing to be prideful like he did is in a way him tapping into the animalistic side of himself, rather than the way we force ourselves to be in society. It becomes more like a story about curiosity, wanting to find out what would happen if you allowed yourself to live purely by your basic instincts.

That of course leads to Walter's death and demise, but there is one detail in his death that brings it to a different conclusion than the anti-pride one. It is the fact that Walt decides to go to the lab that was in the vicinity in his dying moments, and touch the equipment one final time. What that tells us is that his true love and meaning in life was chemistry and science after all, and that being at the top of the pecking order like our instincts want us to be is not so meaningful. He satisfied his curiosity once and for all, and he realised that was already on the right path from the beginning.

Crucially he wasn't sad or disappointed that it all came to and end either, in fact: he smiles. He smiles because his journey to becoming a drug kingpin was worth it, because he got to learn something new, which was the same motivation he had behind chemistry and science, and the motivation to learn something new is the greatest and most meaningful one of all. Therefore the ultimate moral/message behind Breaking Bad is that we should be truthseekers, in whatever way that might be, because seeking the truth is the one thing which will give you the motivation to live and persevere through any hardships, just like it clearly did for Walter White. That is my interpretation and perspective on Breaking Bad at least.

Chuck is indeed brilliant character. I should also rewatch Better Call Saul because I've only seen it once in full, whereas I've seen Breaking Bad three times. Have you seen Pluribus? It is by the same creators as Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, lead character has the same actor as Kim Wexler. In case you haven't seen it I won't say too much about it (the less you know about it the better), but I actually quite liked it.
I know that some people here will likely call me a hecking soy for enjoying that show though, because it has some stuff that could be considered "woke" in it.
Will have to see how the full series turns out as there is currently only the first season, but I look forward to seeing how it continues.

Haven't seen it, did hear some bad things, even from "woke" people that love the brba universe.

Yeah I found that really surprising, apparently a bunch of normies even made a subreddit just to hate on it. In a way I think that means that it does something right, because it seems to me that it pissed off the normies even more than it pissed off your less media literate anti-woke person. I am glad to be among the seemingly few who really liked it, because it means that I have another great Vince Gilligan show to enjoy. Even if that means that the mainstream media will be the only ones I share an opinion with for the first time in my life :feelskek:.

Fair criticism to be honest :feelskek:.

BB has a much better pacing and best if you want to be on the edge of your seat. BCS is much slower and is more drama.
