Brandow, 20, of Falconer, NY, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with conspiracy to produce child pornography, conspiracy to commit witness tampering, distribution of child pornography, and destruction of records. The charges carry a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

According to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Special Agent (SA) Nicholas Melchiorre, Brandow and her boyfriend Myrick regularly sold sexually explicit images on videos via Snapchat and other platforms.

One of their videos, which they offered for sale at $20, featured a three-way between Brandow, Myrick, and a 16-year-old girl. This video was filmed between June and December 2021. According to HSI SA Melchoirre, the video depicts Brandow performing oral sex on the minor female, among other acts. From the affidavit:



HSI served a search warrant on Snap, Inc. and an administrative subpoena on Square Inc. (parent company of Cashapp), and obtained Myrick's information. While being questioned, Myrick admitted that the Snapchat account used to distribute child pornography was Brandow's:



While Myrick was held in jail not only for this video but for other instances where he had also coerced minors into sending sexually explicit material to him, Brandow engaged in witness tampering, at Myrick's behest:



Federal authorities also found out that an attempt was made to delete Myrick's social media accounts, and easily traced those accounts' login histories back to Brandow:

On the same day, a federal magistrate judge issued a warrant for Brandow's arrest, which was executed three days later on January 31st, 2022.

If Myrick wants to go to trial, my guess is that Brandow will strike a plea deal with the U.S. Attorney's Office and testify against him in exchange for dismissal on the most serious charge (producing CP has a 15-year minimum). If her attorney plays their cards right, Brandow can walk away with somewhere in the ballpark of six to nine years (distributing CP has a 5-year minimum).

It's unlikely she'll get a sentence close to the maximum since Brandow is a young, first-time offender and the minor victim was 16 (as opposed to a prepubescent child, which warrants much harsher treatment under the federal sentencing guidelines).
