I never took it seriously. Half of these disorders feel made up.
By the same definition we could also argue aspergers feels made up
Yeah they do feel made up until you start living with it, you will have that question on top of your head thinking is it even real? But truly its just neuroticism repackaged differently
Its a personality disorder so its part of you thus it is real technically

It's kinda hard for me to accept it sometimes. The whole internet calls BPD people demons and wishes we get culled. I feel often ashamed knowing I have it.
True they know nothing about BPD though, even on these forums they assume only women have it which matter of fact is bullshit as women tend to fake a lot for attention most of them do not have BPD, however nowadays its autism so everybody wants to be autistic you can see the pattern here

I never really truly looked at the side effects. I don't know much about it either.
Idk if I have BPD, though I keep swinging from "I want to rope" to "meh this is bearable" and back every 5 seconds
A lot, constant mood swings, lack of self identity and feeling of emptiness, impulsive behaviour, dissocation, suicidal thoughts
For example it is bad if you want to progress in life as you don't even know what you want to do, you will probably find a job and then switch to the next one for example as you either didn't found that it suited you or you got bored very quickly, you just can't keep up most of the time
Also relationships, these don't last too long and people will think there is something is wrong with you in general, not in the weird way but moreso this guy is clearly mentally ill

Kinda explains me. I often have mood swings. When I feel bad, I feel fucking depressed. When I feel mad, I get extremely agitated. I often feel as if I'm not even the same person after going back from being mad to calm again.
Emotions feel more amplified yup, i would describe the sadness as being pure sorrow for example, i do shift constantly mood to mood but i always just feel dead inside after, I often think too deep as well so it amplifies my emotions further

Having BPD is bad in general, high rate of suicide and good luck finding a girlfriend because while being average or ugly alone isn't good enough, just imagine emotionally unstable, too attached and can't make up your mind at any second that pretty much already kills any chances of you getting any pussy for life, in fact you are perma banned from getting pussy at that stage

Even being online somewhat and discussing with people feels redundant. This is why I think arguing online, especially as a mentally ill person, is a waste of time. Just taking your energy and wasting it on something useless.
Well i just want them to know there are guys like me out there, so they can relate because everyone is probably going on about something different and they can't relate thus making them more isolated
For example i cannot relate to having autism and lots of people here have it apparently so, so it makes me unable to relate to that aspect albeit i can understand what they go through
My "gf" (read: online oneitis that led me on for 10ish years) self-diagnosed herself with BPD. She was just a bitch.

Yeah, half of it was my own fault for being an incredibly naive kid (I met her online when I was 12 in an AOL chatroom), but she was also an insecure girl that took advantage of me to make herself feel better about her own self perceived sexual worth.
That was a long time ago and while the experience left me permanently scarred, I'm at least a more stoic person that has accomplished a lot since then (without ever having a gf to rely on for emotional support)
