"Come As You Are" was the first one I learned. But just the riff, not the pre-chorus or chorus because those are done with power chords that I still couldn't perform.

The first song with chords I learned was probably "Jesus Don't Want Me For a Sunbean", Nirvana's version. E, A and D, you can play something like this perfectly if you train for some weeks. Do the A chord with middle, ring and pinky instead of index, middle and ring, it's easier this way.

My easiest song to play is "Tbhngl". Am, G, F, E. But I tune my guitar half a step down.

It's really enjoyable when it's all open chords, isn't it? Playing songs with barre chords only is tiring, although you can cheat by omitting the root note and doing stuff like x3321x

Yeah most songs I play are mainly open chords, maybe with the odd barre chord like Bm or F#m thrown in but if it's mostly barre chords I'm like fuck that.
