I think your old laptop has an old hard drive running Windows 7 which is quite more bearable than an old hard drive running WIndows 10. I'm 99% sure your new laptop has an SSD (Solid State Drive)

i been able to play some games in high setting....including cyberpunk
never faced any problem so far so... first hand experience been satisfactory for my use
decent but not the best, deifinitely upgrade ram and i have to warn you that the battery life is abysmal
Rtx 3050 6g is not good you better lower settings and should of went in with a rtx 3070 mobile or 4070 but anyway your laptop is fine since it have 6gb of vram and not 4 you should be able to run wild,if that laptop have thunderbolt support you can hook up external GPU also upgrade your ram to 16
Im not that much of a gamer tbh. Been running a few games seamlessly. Doesnt have thunderbolt. I will upgrade the ram although again its been fine
