I remember seeing these types of videos about Chinese cars aswell.
Exactly, with all the electronic assistants they are.
Even my low end car has a system that keeps my car in its lane, which once scared the fuck out of me because it can mistake other markings on the road for the edge of the lane. lol
I always turn that shit off.
But that is about the only assistant which actively interferes.
Other than ghat I have an assistant which recognizes the speed limit and warns me if I drive to fast.
That can be turned off as well though. I only use it when I am in a foreign place and it is very accurate.
Has saved me from two tickets already.
Then there is start&stop but I ALWAYS turn that off. That shit just wear out the engine.
Luckily my car is bare bones although it is from 2025.
The less assistants the less problems.
