This shit is so hard and I fucking love it
I've been stuck on the second boss of the dlc so far
Sekiro is next

Why do you do this?
Do you like doing the same thing over and over again?

Jfl I gave up on the second level. Never played it again.

That's why they're popular. Basically anyone with a functioning memory can beat them. They're the most accessible "hard games." Personally, I think this sort of design is cheap and a waste of time.

Funny how people called Sekiro a "simon says" game or "guitar hero" because it's all about memorization of attack timings as if Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 were any different. At least Sekiro took full advantage of it and went all the way with it.
There are games like Ninja Gaiden where you could memorize all the enemy attacks and still fail, because strategy and quick-thinking also matter with them. This is not the case for souls games, where memorizing dodge timings is the only goal, not differently from Sekiro.

Exactly. The criticism probably has more to do with parrying being the focus more than rolling. A lot of the same people criticizing Sekiro being a Simon says game don't have an issue with Elden Ring being full of trial and error bosses that were nothing more than memorization.

Ninja Gaiden is a much better hard game. It's possible to beat Ninja Gaiden your first time without dying because the game has a greater focus on reaction times VS cheap tricks meant to waste your time.

I see a lot of hate on this forum about any popular game
And I don't want to seem like a normie, but to me you niggas just be hating on souls games to seem different ngl

This forum tends to attract "I hate it because it's popular/mainstream!" types.

Personally, Bloodborne is one of my favorite games of all time. I've obtained the platinum for both the base game and the DLC.

By "second boss" do you mean Living Failures or Lady Maria?

There are no variety. Bloodborne is pretty boring and highly overrated. I lost my saves after few levels and give up as i would need to start again from lvl1. This only shows me that this game is not a masterpiece just boring and mediocre game overrated by sonniger fagboys that had zero games to play outside of their shitty exclusives. Dark souls 1 is the only great souls they have made.

Yeah, the fromsoft games aren't even that hard, it's just that normies are used to button mashing without thinking so they hit a brick wall when they play a game that requires some thinking. Bloodborne is probably the easiest one, the dlc is pretty hard though.

You've got to admit that the art style and theme of bloodborne is top tier though.

I already have it, one of my favorite games

I also got it today
Time for Sekiro now

I already have the one for elden ring too

Tbf I was exaggerating how hard the game is
It really wasn't a hard plat I got it in like 4 days

Truth

Best fromsoft game, i let my normie brother borrow it back in 2020 because i already beat it and he didn't even play it once before he lost the goddang game cover :feelsree:

Unlocking all skills is a grind. Sekiro is probably my proudest plat. I fought sword saint isshin so many times that I memorised his entire move set lmao

The hardest part is the cursed chalice, where you have 50% HP and have to beat Amygdala and Watchdog, who have tons of HP.

This is the part that makes platinum in BB harder than in Sekiro.
