Obviously, we are biologically hardwired to pursue the female sex, which in turn is hardwired to analyze a potential male partner and accept or deny his advances depending on what he brings to the table (compromize between resources to safely get offspring, and highly desirables genes that will ensure the offspring's survival).
It's not a surprise that feminism as we know it only appeared a few decades ago. With the technological revolution, and the accessibility to calory and shelter for 99.999999% of women, men are in direct competition with the state which already ensures that all the basic needs for women's survival are already met.
On an instinctive level, women know they are safe, so their instinctive mental process of judging the worth of a man is skewed in comparison with just a century ago.
To be able to check the box "provider" you need to provide much more than what she is already provided with by the state. Even when you check that box, she can always leave you and try to aim higher, free of consequences since modern society will safeguard her.
The only thing you can provide to a woman in the west, that she doesn't already have, is either a huge amount of capital (thus status), or quality genes (aka good personality/charisma
) which is the only thing that wasn't (at least positively) affected by technology.
Sure, there have been many cycles of monogamy->polygamy->collapse with past civilizations post-agriculture, but nothing that can compare with the widespread technological advancements of these past few decades. Feminism obviously never reached such a peak in human history.
I think most men will have it pretty bad for a while and that things will only get worse for us in the coming years. The only hope is that through random genetic mutations, perceived genetic quality might change in the future, since currently (being mostly perceived fighting success) it doesn't really make sense in a safe and developped society. But these instinctive behaviors are selected through thousands of years so I don't have much hope.
When the environnement quickly changes, no matter the lifeform, there are always winners and losers. We are the latter.
All the "positive" advice I can give is : Try to cheat your perceived genetic fitness by artificially changing your bones and acting dominant, try to become very rich (or go to a somewhere very poor), and play the numbers game.
A woman will never unconditionally love you anyways (except possibly your mother.. also a behavior coldly selected by mother nature btw).
