The number one thing used to justify restrictive gun laws is the vast amounts of shootings that happen in major cities across America. Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, Los Angeles etc all have a problem with black people, specifically young black men 14-40, committing mass amounts of shootings.
In rural areas and flyover states like Wyoming or Montana, where whites are the majority, you don't see violence and shootings for the most part. This is even in poor white areas and areas where the gun laws are very lax.
So when black men commit lots of shootings and politicians come up with restrictions as a response, the laws don't just apply to black people, but to everyone.
At the malls around my area, teens under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 21. It used to not be like that. But because black teenagers can't behave and like to be violent at the malls, all teenagers, white and Asian must suffer. Even though white and Asian teens aren't committing the violence.
