So if I’m right on this, blackpill was adopted by incels between 2011-2018. In 2011, an MRA MGTOW blogger branded his blog as “blackpill”
He was sympathetic towards incels, and the named his blog blackpille to differentiate from the PUA centered MGTOWs.
Around 2018, he made a blogpost clearing our name from Alex Minassian’s attack in Canada.
But I think I’ve seen evidence before of the term blackpill being used in incel forums (sluthate, puahate, r/incels… I don’t recall…).
So it seems like the adoption was natural and slow. FACEandLMS said blackpill was the new redpill in a 2018 video. So I’m guessing there was a community agreement to adopt the name blackpill around the time Alex went berserk.
