Why is it such a taboo concept? Some genes are better and people with certain genes have worse lives. Your personality , IQ , agreeableness and even your humor is due to a genetic factor.

People don't like to feel powerless and helpless against the tide of fate. They want to feel like they have control and agency. They want to feel free, even if they're not.
Nah it just shows that society is rigged. Thats it. People want to feel fair, they don't want agency, because lets be honest, how many people do you think have agency, many people in this society have made their desires into gods, and worship those.

I disagree. People aren't determined by casual phenomena. There is way too much depth and diversity and frankly unpredictability in human nature for that to happen. People are non-deterministic beings and have free will.

im saying that most people don't have agency over their own lives. they live in monotony and die in invisiblity. they also make their desires gods, and worship them and become an slave to them. Thats because their brains have been conditioned to be deterministic, and thus, their will has started to atrophy and diminish.
most people havent faced hardship/rejection in their lives and think they are living in some fair and equal utopia.
