Angels are not supposed to look like humans (except for a few lower ranking ones), I'm not sure why normie christians think angels look like blond chads and Stacie's. It's actually demons in disguise who are supposed to look like chads.

Back in the day angels were essentially Daemons of Tzeentch. Though it was a very different God back then, much more badass and realistic. No soy. There's reason why people feared God, they meant it literally he would kill you.

I think they're in Norse mythology, rather Jewish mythology, Near Eastern mythology whichever. The Jews didn't have that many mythological creatures though tbh, aside from the Nephilim and some sea monsters.
