for me mostly best would be story heavy action games like most jrpgs(tales of arise, ff7 remake etc). Second placr tacitcal games like fire emblem three houses. Third place dating sims Visual novel type shit(persona kinda, Sakura wars, grisaia, fate). Fourth place grand strategy, though I have stopped these cause they take too long for a match.

probably those JRPGs like persona series and open-world japanese games like yakuza where you can live a second life within a better world.
and then fighting games are second, best being capcom vs. snk 2 and melty blood:type lumina.

FPS>Strategy>Action open world games

platformers will always have a special place in my heart, mostly because I think platformers are the most consistently fun games out.

I used to like FPS and RTS the best

Strategy, platform, fighting and racing are my favorite

My favorites are survival horror, rpgs, fighting and fps!

Either action or retro.

I like RTS games but I'm not good at them :feelsbadman:

To play a game like Age of Empires for instance at profissional level, you basically has no fun at all. It's just spamming hotkeys and changing the camera each millisecond.

I love Interactive Visual Novels, Graphic Adventures. An example of this would be Ace Attorney, Spike Chunsoft games(Danganronpa, Zero Escape Trilogy.) Sadly those kinds of games are too few, Yuppie psycho would be more of a Graphic adventure, but those are the games i dig the most.

I only play tetris.

I like Morrowind.

I like Morrowind.
its kinda shit though lets be honest, everything becomes way too easy and overpowered after a few hours. sadly i am incapable of developing feelings so i dont feel shit for the npcs like breaking that dunmer bitch out of the templar shithole

Good taste. VNs are really good cope for incels. Lets you experience how life was supposed to be tbh.

Third-person action rpg & action-adventure games

Such as Zelda and Dark Souls

exploration period. i can explore and watch the fauna all day.

RPGs with a touch of romance always mog pure dating sims/VNs. It's hard to bond with the characters in VN unless the characters are well-written.

yeah I noticed this. Not certain why this is the case. Probably because you get to work with the character more with more agency than dating sims. The legend of trails. series does this well. They strike a good balance between VN and rpg type shit

third person combat actions games like dark souls, devil may cry, zelda, etc.

Let me know if you want to team up and have some fun beating easy AIs:feelsokman: I didn't even try to get into AOE4 meta. Town center rush, ram rush, I don't want to deal with any of those in a ladder game.

The issue with dating sim is that it really doesn't simulate dating faithfully with only texts and pictures. You can go shopping or have a gaming session with your waifu, but all you end up having is a mall or a bedroom background and some dialogues. In RPGs, you get to do some actual "work" with the characters through the combat system or other game mechanics that go way beyond clicking dialogue options.

I still occasionally play text-based adventure games, but I no longer play them for romance, but literally treat them as novels + pictures + options. The survival/mystery subgenre is still quite fun.

strat and explo games like eu4 and elite dangerous
