Back then the discussion was who was the hottest. Ginger came up mostly. Beckham chose Posh (or was chosen by her). The smart ones voted Baby or Sporty. Scary was acceptable.

Funny you made this thread because I had just listened to the first Spice Girls album out of nostalgia. Just like it happens with so many bands and groups, only the singles are good.

Also, I'm aware the lyrics are garbage, but many generic pop songs with shitty lyrics are musically good due to having been written by good professional composers.
