u can set the game at 2/4/6/8/10 times speed
makes the early training much faster

All of them. They are all good up until Nintendo switch, Pokemon was my childhood game
Gens 2-5 are all good options
Some of my favorite ones to emulate are the newer ones like ultra sun and moon.
You can upscale the textures and they're super smooth, it looks like the game has been remastered with just how smooth the textures are.
Emulate using Citra, it even works on android phones. That being said, any of the 3DS ones look really good upscaled.
