I was watching the show true detective, and the main character was talking about how he was kind of glad his 3 year old daughter died.

Bringing someone into this world is hubris, it's selfish, it's entirely to fulfill your needs. Completely forgetting that you're yanking someone out of nonexistence and putting them into this planet and life where life is guaranteed suffering, where the only real winners are evil billionaires and chads.
