I don't think it is impossible to "go back", but we will have to lose access to a handful of technologies and such easy access to resources. Foids are human and all humans develop bonds when they engage in bond forming behavior with another human. I think this is the distinction between functional monogamous societies and one's like ours. One is built on bonds while the other is based on sex. For example, I was reading a conversation between two old roasties on r/datingover30 where one said to the other that she finds it hard to date because she "fell in lover at first sight" with her now deceased husband. She said she often finds guys she likes for a number of reasons, but since she doesn't feel that same way she did with her husband, she doesn't feel like continuing to date them. The other women told her that she felt the same, but she pushed through those worries and ended up developing feelings later on for a guy she is currently in a relationship with. I think this highlights that women can develop bonds in spite of not making their pussies tingle with our skulls.
