Hypocrisy Being assertive vs being entitled

I never was able to understand what people meant when they say you should be more assertive and stand up for yourself.

Now I do and it's pretty simple

Wanting something as Chad = Being assertive and knowing his rights

Wanting something as a non Chad = Being entitled and spoiled

Ever wondered why they never seem to blame Chad for being angry whenever he doesn't get what he wants? Meanwhile when I want something people said I'm not entitled to it and should just accept it.

That's why I could never be assertive coz I didn't look the same as my Chad looking peers. I mean Chad gets rewarded while I get punished for the same fucking behavior! And you wonder why Chad continues to just barge his way through life because he has never been punished only rewarded for it!

Yes! I hate being THAT GUY who keeps spouting that there are studies and studies that show... But it's true. The evidence is clearly out there. How people perceive you, physically, strongly affects both what they think about your personality AND whether they're even likely to agree with you or not. Look the wrong way and you're sketchy. Not all of us get disability or welfare, and those of us who are add maybe a few cents a month or a year to your taxes, something you could easily save several fold by getting a medium cappuccino at Starbucks instead of a large one.
