Are there any extreme acnecels out there? I'm in fucking hell, my face hurts and looks like it's about to fall off. Every time I look in the mirror I feel like a body horror character. After I started having acne problems I started looking at the genre differently. I know that Cronenberg used the image of the fly as a representation of a person suffering from a serious illness. I think there is room for understanding and inspiration between being an acnecel and body horror. I am Gregor Samsa from The Metamorphosis, I am the fly man from the movie The Fly, I am the protagonist of Lovecraft's Outsider.
