OP back in my teen days people used to be so desperate to find people to co-pay for hotel rooms near anime conventions (we would illegally pile 10 people into a 2-person room) that I could join a group after they put up an ad on the internet without them even seeing what I look like, so I had a girl texting me to meet up with them to check into the room.
