Venting "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is the first example in recorded history of virtual signaling.

Plato, like all other greek philosophers of his time, was a fuckin mental masturbator (all day long thinking and thinking, just mesmerized by his ability to conjecture beautiful images that not necessarily were aplicable in reality).

Also, like socrates, he was interested in finding the absolutes of the matter of things, basically something no one could argue against. Thats absolutely impossible.

Where im getting with this? He ended up conjecturing a lot of unfalsifiable quotes, like "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" which basically translates (in the real world) to: "woman have different tastes for chad".

But people (especially foids) forget the chad part and decide someone, somewhere will think Danny Devito the most beautiful thing the world has ever seen and, if its a foid, will want to carry his seed.

Thats observably not true, just think that theres not a single foid fan club of him, or jonah hill or michael cera, or any sub5 male with money, status or any other shit.

To be fair with normies (just for once) theres just times when a person is so goddamn ugly it just makes sense. Like their whole existence is to "balance the scales" so to say, a beautiful pile of dog shit. But STILL, nobody in their right mind will put a pile of shit under the category of "most beautiful things they've ever seen" or sum.

END OF THE RANT

it's true to a certain extent. Most JB/young girl's wouldnt find sean o pry attractive but the next decade when they are 27.28 they will find o pry attractive

Wait, doesn’t beauty being in the eye of the beholder contradict the ideal Platonic forms he also conjectured? The quote sounds like a fake one, or he didn’t care about contradicting himself.

There is no beauty without sensory perception. That is the point.

Tbh, when a person is too good looking, it might get to the uncanny valley territory. What i mean is, they're so good looking it might feel off to some people. It might look somewhat boring too. Like natalle 007:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The general rule is that women like chads but women can, like with all rules deviate from the evolutionary set of standards. That why some incels could theoretically ascend if they are that lucky outlier.

Dunno, the first article i read said it was him who said it.
