Be honest - was “Attack on Titan” confusing af to undERstand at times?

I don’t remember being too confused, I finished AOT’s manga while the anime was still airing in the 2010s

people who found AOT difficult to understand just skipped parts of the uprising arc which was tbf quite difficult to follow without wanting to drop since its manga was being released monthly with snail like pacing. was way easier to digest for anime onlys

not really tbh

No I didn't find it that confusing.

I dropped it after season 3

It wasn´t difficult, one of the best art pieces ever

Yes. It went to shit with that whole marley eldian storyline. They should have kept it way more simple. Also wtf kind of name is Marley for a race. Sounds like something you'd call a dog.

only on the last season

i wasnt that confused tho i mostly understood it

The ending was the only garbage aspect of it.

So many of you are coping hard as the Jaw Titan's clamp!
@erenyeager

You are not coping enough

Only part that was a bit confusing was uprising arc. The manga spread it out and was easier to understand but the anime kinda rushed it

I was mainly drunk or high watching this show so yes it was confusing at times

Based

For real

When I watched it a second time I found it was easier to understand.

Maybe it's not really supposed to be understood though. Maybe it's more about caring about the characters.

All anime is confusing to understand sometimes

Voted yes because everything confuses me.

I agree with evERy word.

No, Attack on Titan is actually one of my favorite amines so I understood everyone's character their motivations and why things ended the way they did.

also this is one of my favorite scenes from AOT

Eren Yeager was so determined to fight for his people, his freedom , his right to live that he is not afraid to throw away his humanity in order to fight the monster that resides in all of humanity. His yelling as he transforms is the testament of how much resolve he had in his convictions that allows him to be the devil that he has been named by others which is one that I admire about Eren Yeager's character. He never gives up at all. Eren is not afraid to be the devil required to save his people from oppression. I could rant on and on about his character.

Another thing I also like about his character is how he never wavered from his goal which his yelling represents. I also loved eren yelling as it sends chills down my spine with how admirable his character truly is.

Look at angry Eren is hearing how King Fritz brainwashed his descendants to idly accept their people being destroyed by their enemy. Eren was never okay with how cowardly his king truly was.

The writing just went down the shitter, keep it an engaging story about characters we actually give af about and keep the titans as the main antagonist, not this political time travel nonsense.

I had some trouble remembering the characters for the first season or two - I get now why anime characters have hair in all colors of the rainbow. The ending was also a bit... meh, but pretty much everything else is absolutely stellar. The last season stands out in particular, to me personally.

Also really interesting to rewatch, with knowledge of the entire story.

Agreed

It nevER began

Erin is addicted to freedom and the world wants to his freedom and harm family and friends so the rumbling begins the right things to do and at the end they soy up Erin cause he is too based and his friends descend end up getting killed by war
Understood

it was pretty easy if you can read in between the lines the point of the story is pretty clear . Of course if you wanna deep dive into it you can find alot of complexity in the sub themes of the story

That third video was boring af. AOT was unbearably tedious at times.

Kek! Listening to someone else describe the ending is hilarious!

Yeah bro, let the heroes become nihilistic psychopaths… weak.

Ok, greynigger.
