I mean on a deeper level that if this game we call reality.. all the good characters are NPCs computer controlled.

And the player characters, we spend the whole game nearly in our parents basement.

We are assuming this game we call reality is supposed to be about triumph and awesomeness and NPC's in awe of us.

But what if the game is about fear, sadness, rejection, unfairness, torment, suffering, enlightenment, failure, humiliation.. and maintaining hope and an indominable spirit in the face of it.
