Battlefield 6 beta is actually good

I just played the beta for battlefield 6 and ngl it is way better than what i expected. I have only played battlefield 4 multiplayer and it was like 8-9 years ago. I remember playing 10 hour trial of 2042 through xbox game pass ultimate and it was utter dogshit with shitty performance and shitty big maps and UI. Here UI is also clean and optimization is great with mixed settings 110-120fps which tbf i did not expect with how abmyssal v and 2042 were at launch. I might get it at winter sale this year since EA games tend to drop in price faster. On and all i am glad there is something other than call of duty to play. And its already breaking records on steam charts this year i am glad that tranny of duty has some competition this year

Looked at some benchmark and my old ass gpu can run it at over 70fps at high settings which is way better than shitty 2042, that was stuttering and dropping frames like crazy.

Played one match and got BSOD lmao. And i was not feeling it, everything feels so floaty just like BF4 i no longer enjoy such lazy gunplay and movement. Tank on tank combat is also extremely dated when compared to Enlisted. Graphics looks pretty good and got actually over 100fps on mix of high/mid settings.

I really hate the ui it's fully consolized. While graphics looks good visibility is one of the worst of all games i have ever played i can't see SHIT enemies appear out of nowhere and just kill me as i can't see them. So yeah not buying it game feels awful to play, technical guy really did a good job with optimization this time.

All modern games are consoleslop that get ported day 1 to PC. might as well straight up buy it on console, turn off crossplay, plug in M+KB and avoid all the cheating pajeets/chinks/indians/brazilians/turks that can also bypass secureboot

I highly doubt it Actually i found out that it supports m+kb and it should be forcing PC lobbies on anyone that uses that instead of controller

But there is special equipment for faggots, like xim and cronus, which allows you to play with kbm, the console will think that you are playing on a gamepad and you will have mouse precision + aim assist. But this is no different from cheating.

Oh, that's not good. I wouldn't want to play with PC users because there are a ton of chronic cheaters in Battlefield.

When I get the game on sale, I'll play it on a gamepad.

The game itself, by the way, looks like that very Battlefield 4. I'm happy with the direction Zampella has chosen.

It only makes sense, if you play with mouse you get massive advantage so you shouldn't be allowed to grind console players for free.

I know that the mouse is more accurate and faster, but aim assist changes the dynamics.

In Apex Legends, gamepads had a strong advantage and were at the top of the leaderboard. KBM will have a strong advantage if there is no aim assist, and with it, gamepads often show themselves better.

There was news a couple of years ago with statistics on Apex, too lazy to look.

EA capitalized on the growing disdain of COD players so they made every map into a brainless infantry meat grinder. BF3/4 had CQB maps like Metro + Locker to satisfy these players but now every map seems to be like that. I heard they don't even have a server browser so even if they actually had a varied map selection they wouldn't have 24/7 servers to contain these players
