Foreword: Even if you remain a trucel all your life, it is important to learn to at least blend in. I find socialization is useful more often with non-sexual interactions

Stage 1: Lean into the fear
Rollercoasters and haunted houses are fun to many because they make you fearful on purpose. When you interact with people, see it as an adventure

Stage 2: Acting!
Pretend to be good at socialization. Watch TV and movies, and see how characters like Captain Kirk, James Bond, Saul Goodman, and/or Tony Stark act like

Stage 3: Realize everything is voluntary
Unless you have a genuine crippling, you are as capable of acting like any confident person, and your body is 100% under your control. Pay attention to your posturing, non-verbal gestures, and script out what you say. Speak slightly slower than you want. Watch your tone and intonation, my parents drilled into me "It's not what you say, it's how you say it"

Stage 4: You don't have to marry them
Even if you don't care about someone, still be nice. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar
