I wish this was city right now. pep has made some big mistakes, but this post is about barca, and I will say: their creativity and chemistry is insane. The penalty was the key thing, If Lamine Yamal failed I'm sure the second part would have been very different.

If your press is well coordinated and the teams stamina doesn't run out, you can definitely win games like this. However, I think barca does need to purchase some cbs with more pace to defend more effectively with such a high line. I think Flick wants that anyway

barca needs a few key players. New striker, 1 more midfielder, and defense. Their team will dominate spain mostly I am sure of it. madrid hasn't been a league team in a long time, since they simply can't compete with peak barca teams. madrid has never really played terrific football

You can. Flick wants some signings too as well. I can see where he comes from, that is all I am saying. More pace at the back can save the backline really well with such a high line in case the opponents break through

Yeah but its only newcastle they are midtable PL while even top teams in PL are struggling big time this years CL
