Spending a lot of time indoors or reading is what causes bad nearsightedness, and yes those are things incels do more.

Mine perfect but I'm a bit worried as my mother started wearing glasses when she needed to read around her 40s and my father needed them around his 60s so my eyesight might go one day.
Studies have found bad eyesight is part genetic. Eye strain can occur if you are reading a lot or staring at screens but that is just strain. Actual macular degeneration is more complex.
My vision is so shit that if im not wearing my glasses I cant see anything over 5 feet in front of me.

I only have one degree of myopia in each eye, so I only wear mine sometimes. Artificial, blinking white lights make my sight shitty at distance, but under sunlight I see well. I also see perfectly at short distance.
I'm having some increasing troubles with my eyesight. Like I see floaters and from all this time in front of a screen my eyesight got slightly worse. I had perfect eyes in my younger years however.
