Of course I know none of this shit matters, only looks matter, but there were no soy-boys or people going around calling you a sexist/racist, trying to get you lynched on social media.

18 or so years later, now white men and masculinity is evil, according to the media and reddit at least.

Susan Faludi's Backlash - The Undeclared War Against American Women came out in 1991 and set off third wave feminism. The 90's were the decade when political correctness turned systematic in the west. Already then white men and masculinity - from left to right - was unanimously declared the root of all evil. By the end of the decade the west was a spent force culturally and the present day is only the undead zombiefied continuation of that period. - Something which moves inside that which is dead.

Sure, without a doubt. Apart from the incremental change however, there is no reason to believe anything much will be different in 2028 than it is today, or were in the year 2000, or 2010. We've ended up in a state of cultural stasis, and no one is able to tell when it's going to change.

Just consider this: During every decade since at least the early 20th century, you have been able to tell what decade it was simply by the clothes people wore (and I don't mean just the upper classes). The last time this was possible was in the 1990's relative to the 1980's, but after that, no more. Now everything's the same, the headlines are the same, the TV shows and movies feel the same, the leading ideologies, messages, ideas and thus the officially sanctioned nonsense gripping university campus is the same. History seems to have ended sometime in the late 90's, the wheels came to a final standstill somewhere around that point.
