I am selling my old laptop, and saving money to get the AYN Thor MAX.
So if you are familiar with my posts I recently praised the RG 406 V by Anbernic, and it was for sure a good handheld, but now that I have money coming in I can upgrade.
So the MAX model is $489.00, it comes with 16gb of ram and 1TB of internal storage.
It can play up to PS3, Wii U, and Switch games.. And even steam games, I have actually seen people on just the PRO model achieve GTA 5 gameplay at 60fps on it which is cool.
But once I have it I plan on loading it with games ranging from PS3 and Switch, to GBA and DS games.
But I wont stop there, I will also get a separate SD card for it thats about 1-2 TB of extra storage, in which I will download and have every show, movie, cartoon, anime etc that I could ever want and some porn too.
The purpose of this device and plan is essentially to be the ultimate incel device, if I go homeless, if my computer breaks, if the internet goes out, if the power goes out, if I am out in public, this device would allow me to not require internet or anything.. I would have every piece of media I enjoy downloaded and ready to watch whenever in my pocket.
So to give perspective on what I can actually store on this thing its actually kinda crazy..
I ran the numbers and even looked on torrenting sites for official download sized and what not and I will be able to put everything on it that I need and more, every dragon ball episode and movie ever, every transformers movie and g1 episode ever, every misc 12 episode anime ive watched, I can put all of family guy and american dad and south park on it, I can put every movie I ever watched on it easily. And that would only roughly take up like 1.5TB as an overestimation.
Thats just on the external microsd storage, then for internal storage I could have basically as many ps3, ps2, ps1, Wii, Wii U, Switch, ds, 3ds, gba and even steam games I could ever want.
I urgently need this because if I ever go homeless or get laid off of work or any of the other previously mentioned events that could occur as long as I had this thing, with maybe a backup battery, man I would be set for life, I would go into mcdonalds everyday, charge it, beg for a dollar to get a soda, get some food from people, and ldar all day.
