I avoid taxis at all costs and I have never used Uber, I hate that word "uber", it just reminds me of millennials "I'm going to call an uber". It makes me think of pretentious degenerate women.

When I visit a city I walk everywhere, even if the walk took an hour, there is no way I am booking a taxi to make awkward small chat. Last year I had no choice but to use a taxi because I didn't have time to walk and the curry driver over charged me.

Then there are buses, I hate buses because when I walk on I can feel all the people stare at me and it makes my voice shake when asking the driver for a ticket. This in turn makes my hands shake when I am handing over the money.

Trains are good though. I like the idea of sitting there and going in a direct straight line and eventually getting there. It's about as close as you can get to a teleport.
