NEWS FLASH:
Most people aren't really offended by hypocrites. In fact they kind of respect hypocrites. Most people respect the rare few that can say one thing, do the complete opposite, and get away with it. It seems like only autists are the kind of people that care about moral consistency, and sperg out over someone like a Champagne Socialist. Most people only care if the people they personally like care. So it doesn't matter if "their guy'" is a criminal or rapist. As long as he's 'their guy' it's cool. But an autist never forgets about these inconsistencies, even in the face of having to confront all of their allies head on, the hypocrisy will fundamentally bother them to the point where they'd rather just shut up and hide in a corner. They will never forget the hypocrisy though, and will hold a grudge, and just rue the day the others will see the hypocrisy as clearly as you do.
