Not sure if I have autism, but I still avoid ads. And targeted advertising worked on me, but sometimes that's not a problem, because if I get an ad for e.g. a game I like, why should I worry?

True. I also may have over-spoken because the ads could work on me subconsciously. Idk though.

I mean, I really try to avoid ads though. I hate them because I hate being manipulated. It's quite funny because for some time I didn't leave my home much, used an adblocker and didn't watch TV, so I did essentially not see a single ad ... my consumer spending decreased dramatically.
