Not really, only the cities are. I live in a more rural area and the vast majority here are white. The proportion of nonwhites who went to my highschool was probably <5%, for instance.

I actually don't have a problem with the asians over here. They are very respectful and never cause problems. I think it might be because I never really connected with my the culture because I am an outsider due to being ND.

I've only interacted with a handful of Asians (Japanese), but from my experience, they are typically far more polite and quiet than white Australians. The Indians I've encountered have been pretty horrible, though.
