I would say this started happening in my early teens, I tried to make new friends, but not much people wanted to hang out with me, and this became progressively worse when I reached my early 20s (which fully cemented the fact that no one wanted to be my friend, do anything with me, and staying away from me).

Sometimes I would cope and say "hey it's over the better because friends with others means you have to buy them gifts and waste your money or something." I would always view having friends a waste of time, but then again no communal bond. What always matter more than having friends was simply having a gf, but then again before dating apps people have always ascended through mutual friendships/connections, so friendships to some degree were important in that department, and women don't like loners (assuming you're ugly obviously ofc, but even they're skeptical of normie guys and sometimes Chads not having friends. However, usually by default obviously usually normies/Chads would have friends anyway). Sometimes the women can introduce normie and Chads to their social circle (so it's pretty futile/redundant here).
