Food is fucking expensive and the fact they give you square meal for doing “tests” or some bullshit. I took it for granted. My parents are shitty cooks but with the school nutrition I had enough to at least be mentally functioning. World is full of food deserts

People would shit on school food all the time but now that I think about it I loved it. I never once brought a lunch from home

sometimes the beef they had in the noodles tastes like legit dog food out of a can, but that was because of budget shit. A lot of their food was at least plateble and didn’t give you headaches or high blood pressure or some shit

They may have given you food. But is it worth sitting alone at a giant table in the center of the lunchroom while everyone else is talking with friends or flirting and only stopping to look over at you with disgust every once in a while?

IMO its better to eat shitty ramen noodles alone rather than go through that hell everyday.
