Even then have you seen the new Metro trailer? The devs have clearly been cucked by the Ukraine war and want to tell a story about the evils of fascism because of Putin. There are other bad guys besides le generic Nazis/fascists and if you're in an RPG it shouldn't hurt to let the player join them either. It's called a ROLE playing game after all. And if I want my role to be a Dirlewanger wannabe, then I should be able to do that.
