I'm aware that this may be a somewhat unpopular opinion (inb4 "volcel" in replies), however, agreeing to any terms or conditions on the grounds that you will MAYBE ascend is an extremely dangerous mentality, and one that I've observed countless times in my daily life. Especially in cases where YOU have to sacrifice or concede something, you must tread with great caution. This "something" could be your time, money, dignity, energy, or so forth. It could be something big, or something small. The problem with people, and specifically foids, is that you give them an inch and they'll take a mile, you will never be able to satisfy them, and that is by nature.

Take a look at height standards today, just a decade ago 6'0" was seen as the holy grail. Nowadays, we're so used to seeing numbers like 6'3", 6'5", 6'8", getting thrown around that we forget how ridiculous standards have gotten in such a short amount of time. Yesterday's Chads are now today's Chadlites or HTNs. Trying to appeal to females is like riding down a slippery slope with no bottom.

The existence of simps further showcases the "by any means necessary" mentality that plagues almost all men. You've got guys sending thousands of dollars, if not more, a month to OF thots, streamers, cosplayers, and any other word we use these days to refer to foids who are nothing more than whores. The rising number of cuck behavior online, subreddits like /r/paypigsupportgroup, and men with utterly nonexistent standards for foids is just further evidence. They all believe that somehow, if they keep up their good behavior, they'll MAYBE be rewarded by having the CHANCE to ascend with a foid someday, but that's all just a pipe dream.

As a result, now we have foids, some who are utterly subhuman tier, who demand Chad because their whole lives they've received reinforcement that, that is the LEAST they deserve. Unfortunately, I don't see any way that this can be reversed unless there is some kind of global catastrophe. My advice to you fellas is, if you want to keep improoooooving, and doing what you can to maybe one day have the chance of ascending, go ahead, it's not like you'd stop if I said don't anyways. However, just be aware of the price that you're paying with every transaction, because there's no such thing as a foid being nice just for the sake of it, not even for Chad.

I don't forsee the simping ever ending, unfortunately. Not without some external force that makes it unfeasible or impractical. The Stockholm syndrome is basically built into these guys' DNA, few people are mentally strong enough to overcome their biology.

And I actually ascend because of it. Good for me. But at the same time I'm building up a society, where looksmaxxing is neccessary. There's also a gargantuan dichotomy between what is expected of men versus what is expected of women. Men are demanded to have good genetics (which is completely out of one's control in the first place, but no one cares), be in perfect health, be physically fit, be wealthy, be charismatic, have all sorts of different hobbies that they are good at, and so on and so forth. Obviously, each woman will desire each of these traits in different ratios, but they all will desire them nonetheless. As a result, you practically have every young man on the planet desperately competing against each other for the attention of the same woman. The average/median man is always improving, however, since only the outliers succeed each time, it never makes a difference, creating an extremely toxic and utterly crushing environment for the average man.

Women, on the other hand are just asked to:
1) Exist (optional)

I think the bigger problem at hand is this imbalance of effort between the two sexes. If men AND women tried equally as hard to gain each other's favor, I don't think things would be as bad as they are today. But, humanity as a whole has always enabled women to get away with doing nothing, so similarly to how I replied to Punished Watcher, I don't think things are due to change any time soon.

This is actually a great way to think of it. They spend exorbitant amounts of money, enslaved to the dopamine hit from the "thx bb <3" message. They'll readily spend ever increasing amounts to feed their addiction. It really is like heroin to them.
So yeah, I guess as long as people have addictive personalities, simping will continue. And it will continue to be as harmful to civilization as the opioid crisis.
