It's been awhile since I opened up to my father and told him how I feel.

Today I did and told him that I am not doing well in college. I expected to get gaslighted and told that I am lazy, but he understood.

I am soon coming home for those wondering I live in dorms which is suifuel and he told me that I will push through it and for now to just relax and take it easy.

Told me that when I come home we will drink beers and talk.

It is really good. Have a great time with you family. Enjoy their presence while you have them. Don´t over drink and use this resting time to think again and maybe restart. You can jut chill, try another course, get a job in town... Whatever you can.
