Etc etc. What actually happens, is that as these tools come online, your customers expect you to do more, quicker. AI won't be any different than e mail and the internet in that way.

This is a recentism bias cope. AI is and will be an inevitable turning point in the long arc of human history. Whether the LLM bubble pops or not doesn't matter. The amount of attention and finalization pouring into the concept of AI itself has calcified our course. It's kind of like saying civilization failed right before the bronze age collapse. Or the world wide web failed because of the .com bubble or that subprime mortgages failed because of the 2008 housing crisis.

When big corporations are not sinking endless cash into LLM the development will cease or slow to a crawl. For most applications they're just a toy.
