I have a variant of OCD called dermatillomania. I have accidentally injured people in the past because of it. When I have been in situations where I am forced to tell people about it, a lot of them give me a wide berth, especially girls and women.

This is also why I was required by my high school to be kept in line-of-sight by an aide at all times on school grounds after I was in a mental hospital for three days one month into my freshman year.
